During the 12 months of 2020, 16,962 construction equipment have been sold in the Italian market, with a stable trend compared to 2019 (+0.2 per cent). More in detail, earth-moving machines sold were 16,251 (0 per cent), and 711 were road machines (+15 per cent).

Italian CE market grows in first quarter

Over the first three months of 2018, 2,713 machines have been sold in the Italian market, recording a growth of 30 per cent compared to the same period last year. The number of earthmoving machines sold stood 2,623, while road equipment 93.

Italian CE market posts 15 per cent growth in 2017

In 2017, 12,766 machines have been sold in the Italian market, with a growth of 15 per cent compared to 2016. Earthmoving machines sold were 12,275, up 15 per cent on a year-on-year basis, while road equipment grew by 5 per cent, with 491 units.

New president at CECE

Enrico Prandini has taken over as the new president of the Committee for European Construction Equipment (CECE), effective January 1, 2018. Prandini is managing director of Komatsu Italia Manufacturing, one of Komatsu?s global officers, and vice president of the Italian Construction Equipment Association (UNACEA).
